 Tatjana on Onegin

Giselle

”Marie Lindqvist has a ravishing open-ness in torso and arms, I can pay no greater compliment – there is even a sense of seeing Makarova herself in certain dulcet poses and turns of phrase. Not though as a copy: Lindqvist has been made inheritor of Petersburg tradition. She is her own Giselle, illuminating the dance with airy jumps and a ravishing pas de bourre’.”
